Position Overview:
SEVCA Head Start is currently seeking a Practice-Based Coach who will implement the Coaching program to fidelity by following the system establish to select, support and mentor up to six Coachees’ per program year. Through observation, use of videoing segments of a classroom day and reflection of teaching practices will be strategies used to work with selected Coachees to develop and work on established goals.
The Behavior Specialist will provide behavioral support within a typical Head Start classroom setting to individual children with developmental delays and/or social-emotional/behavioral concerns. Provide behavioral strategies to help strengthen the children’s social-emotional skills and improve their ability to learn. Monitor, collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of implementation. Support teaching staff in the establishment and maintenance of positive and productive partnerships with families.
Compensation: TBD based on experience

SEVCA Head Start is currently seeking a Lead Teacher responsible for being sure the Head Start Performance Standards, Vermont Early Learning
Standards, and Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations for Center Based Child Care and Preschool Programs are met in their classroom. The Lead Teacher is part of a team of supervisory staff that meets monthly. This position requires a close collaborative working relationship with all other content area managers, staff, and parents. Supervision of the teaching assistants, support staff and facility is included in the responsibilities.

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our Family Services department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. This role requires proficiency in various office software, and attention to accuracy and detail.
Key Responsibilities.
- Accurately enter client demographic and service data from paper applications into SEVCA’s central client database and other applications.
- Audit intake packets and maintain program spreadsheets; assist in generating reports as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data entry with experience using databases, Excel, and other relevant applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about helping others and ready to be part of a team that creates real change in the lives of individuals and families? Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Fuel Workers to join our team in multiple offices.
As a Crisis Fuel Worker, you will be on the front lines of supporting low-income individuals and families, primarily providing assistance with emergency heating and electric needs and work in collaboration with the Family Services team. In addition, they will provide direct client services under emergency and non-emergency circumstances, information and referral, and advocacy to low-income clients.

Weatherization
Employment Type: Full-time, 4-day week, 10-hour days.
Position Overview:
Installing energy-saving measures in homes of low-income residents.
The ideal candidate will have construction and/or building science knowledge, dependability, and problem-solving skills. Construction & insulating experience preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Excellent pay and benefits with the chance for advancement.
Required: A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
