Help Guide SEVCA’s Mission — Join Our Board (Attorney Sought)

Westminster, VT - May 26, 2026 - SEVCA is currently seeking new members to join our Board of Directors, with a particular need for individuals with legal experience.

As a Community Action Agency serving Windham and Windsor Counties, SEVCA works to alleviate hardship, expand opportunity, and address the root causes of poverty. Our Board plays a vital role in ensuring strong governance, financial stewardship, and strategic direction as we carry out this mission.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds—including community members, professionals, and individuals with lived experience—but at this time we are especially interested in candidates who can provide legal insight and guidance.

Board Member Expectations:

• Attend monthly board meetings (third Wednesdays, 4–6 PM, virtual)

• Support strategic planning, governance, and financial oversight

• Serve as an advocate for SEVCA’s mission in the community

• Contribute your skills and perspective to strengthen impact
