Effective 3/19/2020

As a response to growing concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and in order to keep community members and staff safe, SEVCA will revise program delivery for all programs, as follows:  All requests for services and appointments will be handled strictly by telephone or other methods not requiring in-person contact, and all SEVCA offices and program sites will be closed to the public. Please click on a preferred department name for more information.

Good Buy Thrift Stores are currently closed and services are available by appointment only.

Vouchers remain available. Please make an appointment with SEVCA Family Services if you have need of vouchers offered for service access. Once a voucher is issued, a Good Buy employee will schedule an appointment for a one-on-one service at a Good Buy location.

Donations are not accepted at this time.

If you are cleaning out your closets, moving or redecorating your home, SEVCA’s Thrift Stores welcome your donations. It does matter where you donate – your generosity benefits people in your community in many ways.

You can bring your donations to any of our three stores during business hours. Our staff will gratefully accept your clean, re-usable clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, linens, furniture, collectibles, art, toys, household goods, and holiday items.

To schedule a time for us to pick up your furniture donation please call the Springfield store or the White River Junction store on Hartford Avenue. We will pick up usable furniture and large donations in Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Springfield, White River Junction and the surrounding towns in VT, NH, and MA. Please call our stores or our main office if you need more information about donating to SEVCA.
