SEVCA Launches End-of-Year Appeal: “Now Is the Time for Community Action.” + Thompson Trust Match Grant

SEVCA is launching its annual End of Year appeal that is an integral part of funding for the organization that allows us to supports individuals and families across Windham and Windsor counties. Executive Director Joshua Davis explains, “This fall, we’ve seen how quickly stability can crack - one unexpected bill, one lost paycheck, and the ground shifts beneath an individual or family’s feet. In moments like these, having somewhere steady to turn makes all the difference.”

Rising housing costs, higher utility bills, and food insecurity continue to strain Vermonters. SEVCA remains a trusted anchor organization—providing a range of support from emergency help when the ground shifts to long-term support that helps people build stability.

SEVCA is calling on the community to help meet the challenge and support this year’s appeal. Whether $50, $100, or more, every contribution is meaningful and helps our neighbors through their unexpected hardships and builds lasting stability.
