SEVCA Announces Key Additions to Leadership Team

Westminster, VT – Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) is excited to announce the recent hiring of two new key staff members to strengthen its leadership team. Lisa Whitney as Finance Director, and Jon Megas-Russell as Development & Communications Director. Both will play critical roles in serving the programs that advance SEVCA’s mission to reduce poverty and promote economic self-sufficiency for individuals and families across southeastern Vermont.

Lisa Whitney has a strong background in financial management, having honed her skills through her tenure at Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development. Jon Megas-Russell brings a diverse skill set in development and communications, cultivated through his experience in sales, marketing, and community relations at both a local farm and the Brattleboro Food Co-op.

Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) mission is to empower individuals and communities to overcome poverty, create opportunities for people to thrive, and address its root causes, with a vision of a more equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to lead a good quality of life.
