SEVCA Announces New AmeriCorps VISTA Position to Strengthen Volunteer Engagement

Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) is excited to welcome an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer to help build and strengthen its community volunteer program across southeastern Vermont. The VISTA will assess current volunteer engagement, design streamlined recruitment and onboarding systems, and develop clear volunteer role descriptions that align with SEVCA’s program needs. By establishing data tracking procedures and cultivating strong community partnerships, this position will expand SEVCA’s capacity to serve individuals and families facing poverty. The VISTA’s work will increase in-kind resources, deepen community engagement, and create sustainable systems that support SEVCA’s long-term impact.
